Home Remedy for Cough and Cold

An immune boosting drink with protective and healing properties.  




Ingredients

  • 1 table spoon fresh crushed ginger

  • 1 table spoon tulsi (holy basil) tea leaves

  • 1 tea spoon turmeric (fresh crushed or pure powder)

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  • A pinch of black pepper powder



Method

  1. Boil water 1.5 cup water with all above ingredients

  2. Simmer for 8-10 mins

  3. Strain the mixture 

  4. Add 2 tea spoon honey

  5. Add 1-2 tea spoon fresh lemon juice (optional)


All ingredients have powerful antioxidants and anti inflammatory properties that help fight infections and boost immunity.
Drink 2-3 times a day and shoo the cough and cold away!
